Steck loves our teachers and staff and host many events throughout the school year to support them.
Hospitality
Steck PTA provides dinner for the Steck staff on certain nights like Curriculum Night, Open House and Parent Teacher Conferences throughout the school year.
Grade Level Funds
All full time teachers received $100 a year from PTA and all part time teachers receive $50 a year to spend on their classrooms.
Teacher Appreciation Week
Teacher Appreciation week is the first full week of May. Steck spoils our teachers and staff with breakfasts or lunches through out the week and decorates the school to show our appreciation. We are also always looking for donations this week – monetary or food items. In years past, teachers have been entered in daily raffles for gift cards too!
Other
During years past, PTA has gifted teachers and staff with scholastic book fair gift certificates and has comped admission to Steck PTA events for staff and their families.
