Butter Braids/Cookie Dough Fundraiser

Our Butter Braid PTA fundraiser was a huge success thanks to our wonderful Steck students and families! Because of your support, we are closer to closing the gap on the negative budget we started the year with.

Some of the funding that this will go for is learning subscriptions (such as PebbleGo,  A-Z, and Scholastic News), new LMC books, and Eagle Cart.

Every year, Steck students raise funds by selling Butter Braids and Cookie Dough.

As an extra thank you, the PTA will be offering a reward to the top selling grade
as well as the top 3 selling individuals!

Science Fair & STEM Night

Held in March, the PTA Science Fair offers students a chance to show off their science knowledge through experiments, demonstrations and educational opportunities. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) night is also held on the same night and students and parents are invited to come share in hands on STEM activities. One does not need to participate in the Science Fair to participate in STEM night.

Winter Coat & Boot Drive

Fall is the time of year to clean out closets, and during the month of October, we are holding a district-wide winter coat and boot collection.  Due to the growing need in our district we will be collecting new or gently used, clean coats of all sizes (infant through adult), in addition to other winter accessories (boots, hats, gloves, scarves, snow pants, etc.).  The coats will be distributed to families in need within our district in early November.
